Reset Student Account Password

Example of Eagle ID

Please provide the following information to activate your student account at FGCU or to change your current password. You will need to enter your University Identification Number (UIN) located on your Eagle ID and your Gulfline PIN. If you are not sure of your UIN and PIN contact the Office of the Registrar at 239.590.7980

The following rules and restrictions apply to account passwords:

Password rules:

  • The password must be a minimum of 8 and a maximum of 16 in length.
  • The password is case-sensitive.
  • The password can contain uppercase letters and lowercase letters.
  • The password can contain numbers.
  • The password can contain the following ASCII text characters: ` ~ ! @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) _ + - = { } | [ ] \ : " ; ' < > ? , . /

Password restrictions:
The password cannot contain any of the following items:

  • Spaces or Non-English characters.
  • The account name being part of the email address.
For example, if your email address is: your password cannot contain 'azul5678'. This restriction is not case-sensitive, therefore AZUL5678 or Azul5678 also cannot be used in the password for

FGCU departments will NEVER ask you for your password via e-mail. If you ever receive an e-mail requesting your Eagle Mail username and password your should NOT respond; instead immediately delete the e-mail.
